about

These are two of our favourites from two of our favourite musicians. John Dipper wrote the first tune- and incidentally hand built much of Ciaran’s C/G anglo concertina along with his parents, the amazing Colin and Rosalie Dipper. The second is a tune written by English concertina player and composer, Rob Harbron. Copernicus, was a smart lad in the 16th Century, who proved that the Earth orbits the sun rather than being a stationary object. Before that the King James Bible was a highly regarded reference point for astronomy – “The World also shall be stable, that it be not moved”.
